There's very few in this world who can see a dream and make it reality. What we call 'visionarys'.. extraordinary men with extraordinary visions. We can see, these special type of people do not hop on the bandwagon, they go off the beaten path in search of their dreams - search in their hearts for deeper understanding of what their visions withhold.
Today a great visionary passed away - Steve Jobs. Quoting President Obama - "...brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it." What an absolutely brilliant way to think of our greatest minds - Martin Luther King JR., Thomas Edison, Einstein, Etc.. Job's loved his passion so much, he saw around every obstacle, exhausted every idea, constructed one of the greatest companies on Earth. All while creating a grand pyramid - with the crown jewel on top: his family.
My fellow reader, what can we grasp today about Steve Jobs? What can we understand about his dreams and visions? Is it a reasonable assumption that his vision came true? Well, i think about the only thing we can comprehend is that he made his vision come true (and mark my words - he wasn't even close to done inventing his to-do list!). How he did it - we will probably never know. Allow me to toss this idea out there though - do you think that he sat on his couch allowed his dream to drift away? Do you think that he saw a grand image of the future and let it slip?
My friends, what can we learn from such a great person? If anything is to be learned here, visions are meant to be held on to. Not just held on to but protected, with everything that you are. If we are to learn anything from Jobs today, it is this. You have to be brave, you have to be courageous, you have to be able to take risks. It is stepping off that beaten path and believing in your vision. It is being creative at its fullest, it's intuition imbued with focus, love connected at the hip with inspiration. Readers, what Jobs has done today is the prime example of protecting your dream. He will always be remembered in my heart as a man who inspired many, and who loved his family more than anything else. A truly great, inspirational person.
I have to say, that even though this blog will have so few foreign eyes upon it, the message still stands. That what Jobs gave to this Earth is a prime example of inspiration. He will be in my prayers, as well as the family and friends afflicted by his passing.
Steve Jobs, thank you.
